Summary of the first month spent in Daejeon

So as the title said, I will just simply summarise things that happened, or pretty much how I've been doing so far in this not so far yet still so far country from my home. I honestly think, even though I have only stayed for a month in here so far, a lot of things has happened to me in the past few weeks. I hope it won't be too long since I said that it would just be summary which I honestly don't think will end up as a very summarised one but rather a long kind of Summary which for some people is definitely not a summary LOL.

Here I go,

So in my last post, I stopped at waiting for the bus in Myeongdong to get to the Airport to pick up the boys from the same University as us (Misah and I) so we could go to Chungnam National University or in short CNU together. The University is located in Daejeon which is approximately 3 hours away from Seoul by bus if I am not mistaken. So when we got to the airport, at about 8+ am, we had a hard time finding where the arrival hall was as we got to the departure area instead with all of our luggage in hand. After a while of trying to figure out, we finally find a way to the arrival hall which was actually at a lower level than where we were in the same exact building. It honestly was so funny to wait for people to arrive with our big luggages and while we were waiting for the boys whose flight apparently got delayed or something or they were stuck in a long queue of people to pass the immigration, we had some people asking which flight we were from and if we were the people they were waiting for.

It was after a long wait that they finally got pass the immigration. The next problem we had on that day was, getting the right bus to get to the University and to find the right waiting stand for the right bus. It was a hell of a lot of walking we had to do to get to the bus but gladly, we got to the right bus right on time.

The bus ride was super long that it was kind of boring but thank goodness I still had my Bruneian line activated, although it was roaming and it surely will result in a large bill to be paid, but I just had to use it because I seriously had nothing to do at the time other than playing with my phone. The next problem we had was getting off the bus and getting the taxi. However at the time, we came across a Korean lady who were fluent in English who asked us where we were heading and eventually helped us get the taxi. It was so nice of her. Thanks to her, we got to the dorm safe and sound without any problem. Wait, there was actually one little problem, which is, to get to the dormitory office. So I texted my buddy, Yeongeun, who were actually planning to go out to meet up with her friends to help us out. Thankfully, she did came to help us out first before she ahead with her friend. That was our very first meeting and I am more than glad that she helped us out a lot with not only checking in to the dormitory but also, helping us out with the door, moving into our respective rooms.

Later on that day, we planned to eat out, by we I meant Misah and myself. On our way out, we met this one German girl named Paula who were standing alone outside the dormitory building that we were staying at. To think about it again, it was kind of funny how we ended up saying hi to one another and even ended up being friends. I didn't remember how we talked to her but I think it was "do you know any cafe nearby" kinda question. It was weird for me randomly talking to strangers at the time but I'm so glad that I did. She was waiting for her buddy at the time because they were going to get some necessities like blanket and pillow which we ended up joining them, thankfully, or else, no good night sleep for any of us because it would definitely be so uncomfortable.

The Next day, it was another "nothing to do" kind of day, so we decided to try out the breakfast at the dormitory. Honestly saying, it was awful. A very bad introduction to what we thought of Korean Food in South Korea. One of my friends end up throwing up because, 1. it tasted really bad. 2. She never had any Korean food before. 3. It was probably her first time eating such heavy breakfast.

tbc.... (I guess I can't finish this in one post)
